Vibist Thaddeus Tukes

    Thaddeus Tukes is a composer, producer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist with an emphasis on the vibraphone. He has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, and Chicago Symphony Orchestra Hall in Chicago. He was ranked top Jazz Vibraphonist in Illinois among high schools, won Kiewitt-Wang Scholarship from Jazz Institute of Chicago, and was a winner of Fidelity FutureStage Young Artists competition during his years at Whitney Young Magnet High School. 

Tukes has performed with a plethora of jazz legends, such as Victor Goines, Branford Marsalis, Willie Pickens, Roy Hargrove, and Dee Alexander, amongst others. Tukes has been featured in the Daily Northwestern, North by Northwestern, The Chicago Tribune, The Southside Weekly, and was an integral part of the We Will Campaign at Northwestern University.

His debut album, Thaddeus Tukes Vibes, is currently available on Apple Music and Tidal.
